Royal Brunei Airlines has contracted Globe Air Cargo China – part of the ECS Group – to provide General Sales Agent (GSA) services covering China.
The deal aligns with the two firms’ cooperation in other countries and will cover around 100 tons of cargo for 2023.
Globe Air Cargo said the main commodities that will be transported under the deal are general cargo and e-commerce.
The airline currently operates three weekly flights from Beijing Airport (PKX) and one weekly flight from Hangzhou (HGH) with A320NEO aircraft.
Royal Air Brunei also recently launched two weekly flights from Nanning Wuxu that provide a weekly cargo capacity of around 4.4 tonnes.
The carrier also utilises the ECS Group for GSA services in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, the UK, UAE and the US.
Royal Brunei Airlines currently operates a fleet of fourteen aircraft comprising five Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, seven Airbus A320NEOs and two Airbus A320CEOs.
